Honeymoon Booked

After MUCH research (we first met with a travel agent in August!), we finally booked out honeymoon!!! Thank you all for your suggestions! We looked into each one of them. It was hard for us to decide what was most important, but once we did that, making the decision was fairly easy. Here is what we were looking for:
  1. All-Inclusive: After talking with lots of other couples (including my parents), we realized that we will spend our entire vacation eating peanut butter sandwiches for fear of running out of money, no matter how much we took with us, unless we go to a resort that offers an all-inclusive plan. We want to go somewhere that we can eat (and drink) as much as we want, whenever we want, wherever we want. We want somewhere with yummy food, great drinks, and great restaurants to choose from.
  2. Close to Home: Hear me out. I already can tell you that after planning a wedding for about 500 days, all while teaching and obtaining my Masters, that I am going to be more than ready to relax on our honeymoon. We looked at quite a few fabulous-looking places that would require 10 hours travel time on 3 different plane flights. For this trip, no thank you! We want to get somewhere fast to begin our honeymoon and relaxation!
  3. Private: We are all about kids, but I have no desire to go to a popular family vacation spot. We have done this with our family, and we want somewhere adults-only with no little ones running around and peeing in the pool. :) With that being said, we also do not want to go to "MTV spring break," if you know what I mean.
  4. Somewhere New: We love exploring new places, and it was important to us to choose somewhere that neither of us have ever been to before.
Our travel agent is my mom's sorority sister, was my babysitter when I was an infant, and has planned practically every vacation I have ever been on, so it's enough to say she knows me (and Seth by now!) pretty well. She recommended several places that she knew we would LOVE and gave us plenty of time to research. So where did we choose??
Royal Hideaway Playacar in the Riviera Maya in Mexico!!!

It seems absolutely wonderful and has everything we were looking for! We will leave at about 10:00am and be relaxing on the beach with fruity drink in hand by 1:30pm. Amazing! Neither of us has been there, it is adults-only, and they have six amazing restaurants that are all-inclusive. It is a five-star resort, and we could not be more excited!
Resort entrance
Pool view (one of them)
One of the restaurants
Sample room
Where we plan to spend most of the week :)

Seth and I are SUPER excited about our honeymoon! Our travel agent has been a couple of times, loved it, and ensured us that it will be perfect for us! With my new luggage that Seth got me for Christmas, I want to go NOW!!! :) Especially since we are still "snowed" in here in Arkansas. It will be well worth the wait, though.
