Bridesmaid Spotlight: Maggie

Since her birthday was on Friday (happy late birthday, Mags!), I thought I would do my next post on Maggie! I am pretty sure that Maggie was the first person I met at Hutchison, and if I remember Maggie telling the story correctly, she went home at the age of 5 to tell her mother that she chose to be nice to the new kid (aka me) at school. Now, granted, we were in Kindergarten, so there were lots of new kids, but apparently Maggie chose to befriend me! Haha Maggie and I have been friends ever since, and our moms are still great friends as well!

We were in carpool together for so many years I can't remember how long it was anymore, and we can recall so many hysterical moments from those times! Here is one carpool picture of Katherine, Alison, Maggie, and me. Didn't we look like an entertaining bunch??

Maggie went to Vanderbilt for undergrad and is now working on her Masters in Counseling at George Washington in Washington, D.C., so I don't get to see her often. Our families are still extremely close, and we try to catch up whenever we both make it to town!

Maggie is one of my oldest friends, and she truly is a great friend to have! Her parents, Dr. Bill and Mrs. Karen, are wonderful as well!

I am so excited that Maggie will be a part of our wedding! She has known Seth for almost as long as I have, and she has always been an important part of my life. I know that Maggie is a friend I will have forever! Thanks for everything Mags, and I hope you had a wonderful birthday!
