So, yeah, can you tell these babies were preemies that spent a combined 6 weeks in the NICU after arriving 6 weeks early?! Yeah, no one else can either. They are growing so well, and their pediatrician comments all the time about how healthy they are. Praise Him!
Sara Beth is wearing mostly 6-9 month clothing with a few 9-12 month. We are now packing up the last of her 3-6 month clothing because she has worn all of those outfits too many times to count! She made the switch to size 3 diapers on March 3 and is wearing those both during the day and at night.
So, baby Seth now wears mostly 12-18 months, and even has worn several pairs of 2T pajamas and shirts. Little man is growing too fast to keep up. He still wears size 4 diapers during the day and size 5 diapers at night, and hopefully he will stay in those sizes for awhile.
Sleeping and Eating:
We are still mostly on the same schedule, even with daylight savings time, and it is working out really well. They take 2 fairly long naps (an hour or an hour and a half), one in the morning and one right after lunch, and then sometimes they still take one shorter nap (20 or 30 minutes) in the evening, but on days when we are out doing things, this nap usually gets skipped. They still go to bed most nights around 7 and wake up around 6:30.
This month we have pretty much continued with the foods they have been eating, except we did introduce meat (pureed turkey, yum!) on February 24. They still take 4-5 bottles per day with 7-8 ounces per bottle. They still eat 2 meals per day, but I am working on adjusting our schedule on the days we are home to feed them 3 meals each day. They love their high chairs now and love to go out to eat... they are so proud of themselves when they get to sit up at the table with us and feed themselves!
Firsts This Month:
For foods, they had the pureed turkey on February 24, and Sara Beth had yogurt for the first time on February 20. They stayed in their first hotel room on February 15 and did great! We went to Nashville to visit my brother, Nathan, who was cast as the lead role in Vanderbilt's production of 'The Winslow Boy'. On February 21, it was the nicest it had been in months, so the babies and I had a play date outside, and it was so much fun! I'm looking forward to many more days outside this summer, especially because the vast majority of last summer was spent with one or all of us in the hospital! On Februaary 23, we switched SB to her big girl car seat to be like Bubby, and she loves it. It does make it slightly more difficult on me to get both out of the big car seats, mostly because they can't stand alone or walk yet, but they are much more comfortable in them. They love to look out the windows as we drive. On February 25, Sara Beth started crawling! She still loves to stand more than anything, but when she wants to get somewhere, that girl can move! On February 26, Seth's tooth to the right of his two middle bottom teeth came in, giving him a total of 7 teeth. On March 3, we ran out of size 2 diapers so SB moved on up to size 3. On March 10, both babies were diagnosed with ear infections, a double ear infection for Bubby (his first) and just a left ear infection for Sissy. They were both troopers while they had them, but we made several trips to the doctor during that week!

Mommy's Notes:
Nine months... whoa! Your Pops and LeLe came to visit the other weekend, and he made the comment that you've been outside as long as you were inside, which made me realize that actually you've been out much longer seeing as you were only inside for 34 weeks! Your personalities are starting to shine through, and I LOVE it! You are both so different from each other, and it is neat to watch you grow into your little selves. Sara Beth, you are opinionated, focused, determined, inquisitive, and smart, very smart. You pay attention to details and things I am pretty sure no other infant would ever notice. You love to stare at people, and you are constantly taking everything in. Seth Ryan, you make your Mama laugh so much! You are funny, loving, determined, quick, and into everything! You love to escape from the living room and explore the house. You love to snuggle, but then you want to get right back to playing. I love every minute I get to spend with the two of you, even the fussy ones. As you are starting to interact more with each other, I can only imagine the fun you two are going to have together. I love you, munchkins!
