Tulsa Trip

So this weekend didn't quite go as planned, but it turned out pretty great nonetheless. I was supposed to go to Memphis to have a wonderful weekend with my momma and see a high school friend get married, but with the insane flooding, the interstate between Little Rock and Memphis was closed, making the trip there nearly impossible to do in just a short weekend. This is a picture of downtown and Riverside Drive in Memphis. Insane.

The White River in Arkansas was the primary reason for the interstate being closed... I see why.

Regardless, I was still pretty bummed that my fun weekend was cancelled. However, I have the best husband in the world, and he offered to take me to Tulsa for a fun weekend there instead. We ate delicious food and did some shopping. It was so nice to spend the weekend with him after his living in the library studying for finals. He's pretty good to me! :) 

We've got another busy week ahead of us, and Amanda's wedding this weekend, where I will finally see my parents! Lots to look forward to!
