Wedding Festivities - Day 2, Part 1

Friday morning, the boys met in the lobby of the Peabody around 7:00am to go golfing. It is highly doubtful that they have any pictures to document this experience, but from what we all heard much later in the afternoon, they had a great time on the course! Meanwhile, we girls slept in and headed to Nail Bar on the Island in Harbor Town.

For my bridesmaids' luncheon, we decided to do something fun for my girls, so we reserved this fun salon where we could bring a catered lunch in and get pampered! We enjoyed the salon all to ourselves, got manicures and pedicures, watched Dear John on their TVs, ate lunch catered by Miss Cordelia's, and thoroughly enjoyed mimosas and Muddy's cupcakes. It was a perfectly wonderful "girlie" morning!

Mrs. Karen (Maggie's mom and one of my mom's best friends) and my mom... Mrs. Karen was wonderful enough to bring the Muddy's cupcakes to us!

After a wonderfully relaxing morning, we headed back to the Peabody where most of the girls rested, but Shawna, Amanda, and I decided to take a walk around the downtown area. Here is a pic Shawna got of us walking across the pedestrian bridge over the Mississippi River.

It was then time to get ready for our rehearsal! I know I'm behind, but I'll post pictures of our rehearsal and dinner in another post... don't want to overwhelm you with pictures!
