Road Trip Home

Last Saturday (August 15) around 1:00am, a new little Jewell entered the world! Seth's sister, Hannah, had her second child, a little boy named Brody Russell Jewell. This weekend, we loaded up the car and headed to West Memphis for a quick trip to see the little one. He is absolutely precious!!!

We also got to see Lexi Dianne, Hannah's (almost) two-year-old who is so much fun right now! Here is Seth and Lexi holding the baby.

We had some time on Saturday to go visit Seth's oldest brother, Trey, and catch up with two of Trey's little ones, Bailey and Triston.

As a special treat, my mom came over from Memphis to have lunch with us at a Mexican restaurant, and we got to spend some time with her and the babies.

We drove back late Saturday night so we could have a full day to get settled before the week. We went to church this morning, had lunch at Cafe Rue Orleans with friends, and then spent the rest of the afternoon prepping for the week. Law school starts back tomorrow as does graduate school for elementary education! Happy Sunday everyone!
